One of my earlier jobs, when my dear sweet daughter Kacie was a wee little one, I worked for a company named Leisure Arts.  I’m sure that many of you know of the company.  The GREATEST perk of that job was that we got copies of kits and books hot off the press.  I’ve gotten rid of mine by giving away to my friends and family and keeping some for my own collection.  However… my sister in law worked there too!  She passed most of hers on to her mom (my mother-in-law).

When the mom-in-law came up this past weekend for my son’s birthday, she brought with her lots of goodies.  Preprinted cross stitch bibs and blankets, cross stitch kits, booklets for cross stitching as well as for crochet and knitting.  She also brought up alot of DMC floss she had – YAY!  I’ll use the floss for embroidery, but I’m not into cross stitching… I’m too lazy to count! LOL  So, with her generosity I felt the need to bless others!  So here’s another giveaway!

(As a side note I did want to let everyone know that my daughter now has her own crafty blog.  I’m really proud of her – she’s doing it all by herself and is rocking it!  Check her out at Kacie’s Korner, she’s had some great ideas!)

I missed the last giveaway day organized by Sew Mama Sew and I’m happy to be participating in this one!  With the new move to the craft room I found some items that might be of use to others – so that’s what I’m giving away.  I hope you like them! Next time I’ll give away more embroidery items – promise!

Do you ever just get overwhelmed by all that you want to try?  I’m so there right now.  I don’t know if its due to spring (awakenings?) or just me.  There are TONS of tutorials and free patterns popping up in the craft world online.  I want to try my hand at so many of them and I have no idea where to start:

• Lotus Brick Quilt by Amy Butler for Kacie
• Japanese Knot Purse for Katie
• Headbands for Katie
• Dress and Bloomers for Leah
• Lil’ playhouse and doll for Leah
• Something (not sure yet) for Mom (bday and Mother’s day… any ideas?)
• Set of Domestic Ninja Tea Towels – just cause (I’m sure I’ll find a good home to give them to)
• Basket Liner Embroidery
• Pillowcases (Embroidered) for a swap

And that’s really not the half of  it.  I could probably fill a landfill if I printed out all the patterns/tutorials I’d like to try.  Don’t you just love our craft blog land we have out here?  It’s really refreshing to see so many people share their life, experiences, and passions through their crafts.

I am absolutely amazed at the great response to our first giveaway.  We had over 100 comments!  Thanks to all that participated – I think I’ve made several new friends through this adventure.  I do hope to have more giveaways in the future – its been alot of fun.
