After making the last post, I had to make Lexi another outfit… this one made just for Turkey Day! I took some bright orange flannel and embroidered I and then a pic of a drumstick. The drumstick is from free clipart and I just sketched the heart and the letter I. It came out really cute.

And of course we had to have another pic of Lexi modeling her new outfit! She’ll be styling on Thanksgiving – maybe it’ll get her a little snack

Lexi is our little doggie here. She’s 1/2 chihuahua and 1/2 shih tzu. She has a sister named Abbi that lives with my sister Renee. Abbi is a lot smaller than Lexi and takes more after the chihuahua side. They look nothing alike – but I swear they came from the same litter. Both Abbi and Lexi are loved very well

As I was perusing blogs today, I came across one that gave a free pet vest pattern that you can sew. I’m not the avid sewer – Renee is much better at that than I, but I couldn’t resist! I love my little dog and decided that Lexi should have needed this vest! So I took out some scrap material, found a little ribbon, and begin sewing away.

This was the final product:

And of course we had to model it!

I’m thinking I’m going to make her one to wear on Thanksgiving I’ll post that pic later.
