HUGE Update

Wow it’s been over a month since I’ve updated!  I haven’t forgotten about you dear blogland, we just got crazy busy.  Besides the busy Christmas season, we also moved houses!

Thought I would post some projects that I’ve completed and catch up on this blog – because I have something AWESOME coming tomorrow and want a clean slate!

Forgive me as some of these pics are shot with my phone camera…

Katie’s quilt. I thought I had posted this already, but can’t find it anywhere on my blog!  I made this quilt as a Christmas present for my niece and was inspired by this quilt.  I used two of her fave colors hot pink and lime green.

River’s book.  I made this book for my littlest niece.  I took some of the ideas from here and added more animals.  I didn’t buy her patterns, but made my own.  I loved making this, but it was really time consuming!

Kacie’s scarf. I whipped this up last night using some charms I had left from a previous project.  It took about an hour to make.  I just sewed 16 charms together twice, so that I had two long strings of charms.  Then I took those and sewed them right sides together.  Turned it right side out and top stitched it.  So cute!

Big Bang Theory Wall hanging.  I was commissioned to do this piece.  It’s based on one I did about 2 years ago.

Mug Rug Swap.  I participated in the Mug Rug Swap and sent the North Pole.  I received an awesome robot mug rug from SnailExpress.

BBC Swap.  Houses were the theme for the bitty block committee so I sent some trailers for sale or rent.  These were so fun to make, but I think next time I’ll try to bleach out the background.  I think its too busy.

Wreaths.  I made a slew of wreaths to give away for Christmas.  I was inspired by this wreath – and even taught some of my girls how to make them.

Flower hairbands/clips.  I’m addicted to making these!  Seriously made a TON of them and have even sold several!

Well I think that wraps that up – I’ve been pretty busy in the craft department, but still didn’t get as much done as I’d liked!

Stay tuned for tomorrow (and each 1st of the month in 2011) as I’m going to have an Embroidery BOM – Ninja style!  They will make an awesome quilt if you want to block them out or you can pick and choose your faves to stitch up on towels or wallhangings, or whatever else you come to!  It’ll be my freebie of the month!  See ya tomorrow!
