I’ve started a class online through Karla’s site. We’re learning how to make 3 different types of journals and different binding techniques. Karla is doing a great job and I loved her videos showing you not only how to bind the journal, but also how to make pages with photoshop. I learned some tricks I hadn’t known!
Her classes are not pricey and if this first lesson is a good measurement to judge, then I’m sure I’ll be taking more in the future!
With all this new knowledge.. and really “needing” to make a journal – I decided to make one as a hostess gift to my friend, Cathy. Cathy has graciously invited me to her cabin this weekend… for a scrapbook crop!
I’ve only digitally scrapbooked, so this is going to be something new for me! I can’t wait. I’m so excited!
I hope Cathy likes the journal I made her – it was alot of fun to make! I’m thinking I’ll make some for Christmas gifts too!
Oh! And for those that are curious, Renee had her baby – they are both healthy, though I’m sure mom could use some sleep right about now. River is just so precious too! River wore the Firefly/Serenity onesie home!
