Tea Towel Swaps

I’m absolutely loving this traveling tea towel swap.  We’re about half-way through it and my towel is looking awesome!  I asked for a robot themed towel and they are surely delivering it!

Here’s the last two I’ve done…  I love the variety I’m finding in the different colors/patterns used for each person’s towel.  I’d never think to use muted tones, but the gal who will get this towel prefers them… I think it turned out beautifully!

Then there’s the kitchen themed towel – I embroidered these canisters.  I used a pearl cotton on these and it turned out well.

It’s easy to get a little scared sending these off – wondering if the person receiving it is going to love it or not.  I also can’t stop comparing my stitches to others.  I’m such a novice and it shows… but practice makes perfect!  So here’s to practicing! :D

  1. Those towels are gorgeous! You are doing a great job on your stitching.

  2. My mom embroidered some of these towels for me for Christmas. I love them! She did redwork and they match my kitchen perfectly. What a fun swap!

  3. Your robot towel is awesome. And your embroderies are terrific.
I’m sure everyone will love your work. Once it’s all done, who can tell you are a novice!
