This apron and potholder are about to be boxed and shipped away today for my current apron swap at Craftster. I love the colors and the fabric patterns. The bright yellow reminds me of my Aunt Cheryl – she has loved yellow for as long as I can remember.
Being in swaps is so much fun and has proven to get my creative juices flowing. While this apron and potholder are being shipped, my new friend – Domestic Ninja – is here to stay. In fact, I’ve doodled her so much, that I have SEVEN new embroidery patterns to share with you. That’s right – one for every day of the week. I’ll release one a day from today through next Monday. I hope you enjoy my new friend as much as I do – I totally think she rocks the Domestic Goddess thing

Some of you know that I was playing with Shrinky Dinks on and off over the weekend. Again, this was inspired by another swap at Craftster. Remember Marizzy the Roaming Gnome? Well when I ship her, I have to ship her with a photo album to be filled with awesome pics and little trinkets that my partners can choose from to keep to remember where their gnomes visited. The first thing that came to mine was Chickens. Springdale doesn’t have “Feather Fest” for nothing! LOL So I made some keychains out of Shrinky Dinks with chickens on them.
I like the funky chicken the best. I’m thinking about making some earrings for KC out of this material – like some easter eggs to color up? I think that would be fun!
Remember to keep checking back for the rest of the Domestic Ninja DOW embroidery patterns each day this week.
Enjoy!

Lucky Partner! I love that Domestic Ninja apron – so adorable!
Oh, you put the ninja on the apron, how cute! I’m sure your partner will love it.
THe ninjas are a hoot. I am older, can remember when we actually embroidered the days of the week towels for our mom. Nice to see some things change but not completely
Just wonder what DN does on Sunday and MOnday?
Thanks for making my morning!
