Admittedly Mike and I are both… well computer geeks. The garage would certainly prove that statement. We’ve got bits and pieces of computer components, speakers, motherboards, RAM, and keyboards running amok out there… I think they reproduce when we aren’t looking… There is hope though – Shawn found an awesome instructable on how to make a wallet out of the circuit board of a keyboard. I hope to use the keys later to make magnets for my craft area.
Shawn is addicted to Instructables.com – if you haven’t went there, check it out, but make sure you have several hours as you can easily zone out and waste many days hours there.
Armed with an old keyboard, cutting mat, rotary cutter, screwdriver, clear tape and an instructable (click me) he set out to make a new wallet. I couldn’t let him have all the fun – so I jumped in to help!
Here’s some pics to share the fun…
- Items Used
- Wallet w/ Pockets
- Lookin’ good all filled up!
- Folded & Supportin’ Firefox
- Putting it into Use!
It was alot of fun doing this with Shawn – and he has a very cool wallet too! (And if you knew Shawn – you’d know that the library card and best buy card pretty much sum him up
)
Keep Kraftin’
